Patrick (Pat) Boulard is a Photographer based in southern California, focusing on seascapes, landscapes and birds/wildlife photography.

Born and raised in France, Pat moved to California as a student and settled in the US after meeting his wife while pursuing his MBA.

Throughout his life and career, first in shipping and then in technology, Pat was fortunate to travel extensively thus developing an appreciation for landscapes in general, seascapes in particular, and for the variety and uniqueness of our planet’s beauty.

Pat’s passion for photography grew as a meaningful way to escape the daily grind, and as an artistic outlet contrasting with technology work. As a passion project, photography fits at the confluence of creativity and technology, art and science, left brain and right brain. The ideal balance between the art of perfect composition, and the science of perfect camera settings.

Now based in Southern California, Pat enjoys spending time on local beaches searching for unique rocks, waves, skies or combination thereof. When not at home, Pat always travels with his gear, looking for his next capture.
